“Spirit of the Islands” Unveiled

Congratulations to Kaiser High School’s Aaron Nee for winning Alaska Airline’s “Paint-the-plane” contest.  His winning artwork was painted onto a Boeing 747-800, depicting the “Spirit of the Islands.”  His design was chosen from among 2,700 entries.  The plane was unveiled at the Honolulu International Airport.

As the grand prize winner, Aaron received a trip for four to any of the carrier’s destinations and a $5,000 scholarship.

Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui presented Aaron with a commendation for his achievement .
