HONOLULU—Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui offered welcoming remarks at the 7th Annual FIRST Robotics Competition, which featured 40 teams from local and international high schools. The contest, called “aerial assist,” requires students to design, build and maneuver robots that can advance balls down a court and score goals. Entrants competed for a chance to participate in the World Championships.
