KAHULUI — Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui delivered welcoming remarks at the Blue Zones Project Application Presentation and Site Visit. The Blue Zones Project is a community-wide well-being improvement initiative brought to Hawaii by HMSA. The goal of the initiative is to transform our state into an even better place to live, work and play. Earlier this year, the Wailuku Community Association submitted an application for Central Maui to become the next Blue Zones Community. Blue Zones has already established communities on the Big Island, Oahu and Kauai. This year, two more Hawaii communities will be chosen for the Blue Zones project.
