Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui speaking at UHWO Graduation CeremonyLieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui had the honor of being the keynote speaker for the University of Hawaii-West Oahu’s Spring Graduation Commencement on May 4.  There were 223 degrees and certificates awarded to the graduates.

In his address, he told the graduates:

“Find what you are passionate about and pursue it with all your heart.  Because if you don’t, there will be too many work days in the week and too many weeks in the year for you, and each one will seem longer than the last.  But, if you enjoy what you do and are able to fully engage yourself in that work, it will no longer be like work, instead each day will be fulfilling and rewarding.  That is the truth behind any successful person … they love what they do.  Find your passion and let your passion be your purpose.  It will help to inspire you and in turn let you inspire others.”
