Lt. Governor Celebrates Fourth of July on Oahu and Hawaii Island

Kailua Paradekona paradeKailua, Oahu and Kailua -Kona, Hawaii –On a day known for fun, food, and fireworks, Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui  participated in Independence Day parades on Oahu and on Hawaii Island.

His wife, Lyndelle, accompanied him on the parade floats that took them miles around Kailua and Kona where they were met by friends, supporters, and spectators enjoying their fourth of July.

Independence Day is a commemoration of America’s declaration of independence made on July 4, 1776. It’s a day of patriotic pride and a celebration of our unique American ideals.
