Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui visits Kauai

Honolulu –In his first official trip to Kauai as Lieutenant Governor, Shan Tsutsui had a busy schedule planned for his three days on the island.

His first stop was to Kauai Raceway Park where he and other officials participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the track repaving project.

The Lieutenant Governor later spoke at the Hawaii State Association of Counties conference.

Friendly and enthusiastic supporters and employees welcomed Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui to Wilcox Hospital.

He later visited a local McDonald’s where he was greeted by the owners, staff, and customers.


Saturday morning, the Lieutenant Governor was up early chatting with Ron Wiley on KONG Radio.

The Mayor-a-thon proved to be a fun and festive event as Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui met with folks from the community.

He successfully completed his 3-day trip after addressing the graduates at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Graduation Luncheon and Ceremony.
