Honoring Fallen Service Members and Loved Ones on Memorial Day

HONOLULU – Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui attended the 65th Annual Mayor’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific and the Governor’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the Hawaii State Veteran’s Ceremony. It was a day to remember our fallen heroes, to thank their family and friends and to express appreciation to our veterans.  The Lt. Governor also participated in the 16th Annual Lantern Floating Ceremony held at the Ala Moana Beach Park.  He was invited to take part in the Light of Harmony, a part in the ceremony when community leaders from various sectors symbolically demonstrate their unified commitment to creating harmony amid diversity.Lantern Floating Ceremony
