Honolulu– It was a proud day for more than 60 service members at the Joint Pearl Harbor-Hickam graduation ceremony. Many of them worked towards their degrees while on deployment. The degrees varied from Associate of Arts in General Studies to Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management to a Master of Science in Information Technology, Management Concentration in Information Security/Assistance and Digital. The schools from which the service members obtained their degrees included the American Military University, Hawaii Pacific University, and Florida State University.
Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui was honored to deliver remarks at the graduation ceremony. “Understanding that for you men and women to not only dedicate yourselves, your time and your lives in active duty service to your country, but also complete your college education is truly a phenomenal achievement,” said Tsutsui.
