HONOLULU — The Hawaii Air National Guard dedicated its new F-22 maintenance facility to U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye, who was instrumental in securing federal funds for the F-22 jets. Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui attended the blessing and dedication, along with other dignitaries.
Earlier in the day, a C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft was dedicated in Inouye’s name, “Spirit of Daniel Inouye.”
