Acting Governor Chin Proclaims Feb. 21st “Cancer Awareness Day” in Hawaii

At the 2018 Hawaii Comprehensive Cancer Coalition Summit, Acting GovernorChin, proclaimed February 21, 2018, “Cancer Awareness Day” in the State of Hawaii and called on everyone in the State to join him in recognizing those who battle cancer everyday and to renew our commitment to cancer prevention, early detection, equitable access to health care, and improved quality of life for all our residents.

Speaking to an audience that included U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono, who was also being honored as the Coalition’s Courage Award Recipient, Acting Governor Chin praised the Coalition for its work to reduce the impact of cancer throughout the State and dedication to moving the State towards a collective vision of “No More Cancer.”
